Dear Fellow Veteran
The Manchester Veterans
Council wishes to express its appreciation for your service to our Country, and
we invite your unit to march in our
upcoming Memorial Day Parade here in Manchester, which will be held on Monday,
May 28, 2007, starting at 2:00pm.
To help us run this
parade smoothly, we would appreciate a response by Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at
the latest. You can call any of the above members, or mail the below
application to Tony Karam, 237 S. Lincoln St, Manchester, NH ) 03103.
The marching units will
line up on Elm Street, north of Webster Street starting at 2:00 PM. We ask
that you have your unit in the line of march by 2:15 PM at the latest. It is
requested not to
use the parking lot of the Brookside
Congregational Church to park or assemble
The parade will proceed
southerly on Elm Street to Veterans Park commencing at 2:30 PM, with a halt at
City Hall at 3:00. At 3:00 PM~ all units will halt and all music
will cease for the tribute to veterans.
A Ceremony will held at Veteran’s Park at the
conclusion of the parade to honor all Veterans. We are asking all marching
units to assemble at Veteran’s Pak for this. We will mass all colors before the
speakers stand for the ceremony.
